Tallinn Urban Adventures have been offering tours in Estonia since 2006, and are very excited to have now be part of the Urban Adventures Network. We have always felt that we offered something a bit different from the all too common mass tourism offerings, while still providing a professional and well organised service. We feel that being a part of the Urban Adventures Network will allow us to provide such services to even more people.
The Tallinn Urban Adventures team is led by Andrew Meek, originally from Melbourne, Australia. Back in 2004 Andrew, spent a one semester university exchange in Tallinn. During that time he developed a love of Estonia and Tallinn, but in particular he developed a love for one Estonian girl! After following her back to Tallinn a few years later, he felt that there was a lot to see and do in and around Tallinn, but that not many people were presenting them in an interesting and genuine way. He began offering tours for small groups, visiting some special places big tour groups can’t or won’t go to. Over the years Andrew has been joined by a number of passionate and intelligent Estonians. We feel that we have a great mix of local expertise with a sense of what makes Tallinn interesting to a foreign visitor.
The Tallinn Urban Adventures team is headed up by an Aussie expat and rounded out by a passionate, fun and knowledgeable group of locals. We feel this mix means we know a great deal about Tallinn, and that we also know how to explain the city to a visitor.
